Diversity Training in Multi-Faith Awareness
A multi-faith training to augment multi-cultural training, in order to enhance client relations, community engagement and staff development.
These trainings will provide participants with the tools to comfortably and appropriately engage around issues related to religion to enhance service to clients, staff and community institutions. They will explore the structure of religious institutions and the diversity of faith perspectives.
Trainings support professionals in (a) understanding the faith dynamics related to serving clients and staff, (b) joining with faith community professionals to provide the support for the individuals they jointly serve, and, (c) addressing perceptions and misperceptions of religious beliefs and tenets that effect individual advancement, civic involvement and a sense of a civil society.
